                                                  Overview

                                                  IC695PSD140 is a 40W multi-purpose DC power supply for Emerson PACSystems RX3i PLC universal backplanes (formerly GE Fanuc). It converts 24VDC cabinet input into multiple regulated internal voltages to power the entire rack’s CPU, I/O and communication modules. It supports load-sharing and redundant parallel configuration for high-availability control systems, and fits the dedicated power slot of IC695 series 7-slot /12-slot backplanesEmerson.

                                                  Key Functions

                                                  1. Rack-wide centralized power conversion
                                                      
                                                     Stabilizes fluctuating field 24VDC power and distributes clean, low-noise voltage to all backplane modules to avoid signal distortion.
                                                  2. Redundancy & load expansion
                                                      
                                                     Multiple identical PSD140 supplies can work in parallel to boost total rack power capacity or build redundant power architecture to eliminate single-point power failure.
                                                  3. Full multi-layer protection
                                                      
                                                     Built-in overload, over-temperature, short-circuit and overvoltage hardware protection; automatically cuts output to prevent damage to CPU and I/O cards under abnormal conditions.
                                                  4. Real-time fault diagnosis
                                                      
                                                     Sends power status signals to the RX3i CPU; fault logs can be uploaded to HMI/SCADA for maintenance alerts.
                                                  5. Auxiliary relay power supply
                                                      
                                                     Independent 24VDC output provides power to relay-type digital I/O modules without extra external power wiring.
