                                                    Overview

                                                    IC695ACC400 is a capacitor-based CPU backup energy pack for Emerson PACSystems RX3i PLC platform (former GE Fanuc). It delivers temporary power to compatible RX3i CPUs during full rack power loss, giving the controller sufficient time to copy all volatile RAM data to onboard non-volatile flash memory to avoid program, parameter and runtime data loss. Unlike traditional lithium battery packs, it uses long-life supercapacitors without frequent battery replacement. It mounts beside the CPU module instead of occupying rack backplane slots, saving valuable rack space.

                                                       Charges continuously from CPU 24VDC rail while the PLC system runs normally; no separate external charging circuit required.

                                                       Side-mounted structure attaches directly to the CPU module’s left side, leaving all backplane slots available for I/O and communication modules.
                                                    4. Long-term maintenance reduction
                                                        
                                                       Capacitor energy storage eliminates periodic battery replacement work, cutting down site maintenance costs and downtime.
                                                    5. Power loss fault logging support
                                                        
                                                       Sustains CPU operation long enough to record power-fault timestamps and event logs before full shutdown for post-fault analysis.
