                                                                        Overview

                                                                        IC695LRE001 is a serial expansion bus bridge module specially designed for RX3i universal backplanes. It converts the internal PCI dual-bus signal of the main RX3i rack into differential serial bus signals, connecting multiple IC694 / IC693 Series 90-30 remote expansion backplanes. It solves the I/O capacity limitation of a single rack and supports mixed deployment of new RX3i modules and legacy 90-30 I/O hardware, widely used for retrofitting old automation control systems.

                                                                           Converts RX3i universal dual-bus electrical signals into serial bus levels compatible with Series 90-30 racks, realizing seamless data interaction between new RX3i CPU and legacy IC693/IC694 I/O modules.

                                                                           One main rack equipped with LRE001 can connect up to 7 expansion racks, greatly increasing the total discrete and analog I/O points for large-scale control projects.
                                                                        3. Distributed remote rack layout support
                                                                            
                                                                           Long-distance serial cables allow remote I/O racks to be placed near field equipment, reducing lengthy field sensor wiring and lowering cable engineering costs.
                                                                        4. Compatibility for old system renovation
                                                                            
                                                                           Retains all original Series 90-30 wiring and I/O modules during PLC upgrade, avoiding full cabinet reconstruction and cutting renovation investment.
                                                                        5. Built-in maintenance debugging port
                                                                            
                                                                           RS232 serial port supports SNP communication, for offline program upload, rack status diagnosis and fault troubleshooting via handheld tools.
                                                                        6. Real-time expansion link diagnosis
                                                                            
                                                                           Continuous monitoring of serial bus communication status; uploads link disconnection and communication failure fault codes to RX3i CPU for HMI alarm display.
