                                                                            IC694APU300 is a specialty high-speed counter module for GE Series 90-30 PLC, fully compatible with Emerson PACSystems RX3i dual-bus backplanes for mixed legacy & new hardware deploymentEmerson. It integrates 4 independent high-speed counter channels, dedicated encoder pulse acquisition and hardware trigger outputs, designed for motion control, speed measurement, positioning and pulse flow counting. It supports both single-ended and differential encoder signals (enhanced version), with on-board hardware logic that executes counting and comparison without occupying CPU scan load.

                                                                              Supports low-voltage 5V servo encoders and general 24VDC proximity pulse sensors via software voltage selection.
                                                                            5. Comprehensive self-diagnosis
                                                                               
                                                                              Detects module faults, open input wiring, overloaded outputs; upload fault codes to CPU for HMI alarm display.
                                                                            6. Legacy system upgrade compatibility
                                                                               
                                                                              Mix-install with IC695 RX3i CPU and I/O modules on IC695CHS007 / IC695CHS012 backplanes, reuse existing Series 90-30 encoder wiring.
