                                              Overview

                                              MMII-PD-1-2-240, also called MM2 Motor Manager II, is a full-featured microprocessor-based motor protection & control relay from GE Multilin. PD stands for panel-mount with built-in LCD display; the digits 1 and 2 represent two full optional function packages, and 240 means 240 VAC control power supply. It integrates complete protection, local operation, power metering and communication for low-voltage AC motors, widely installed in intelligent Motor Control Centers (MCC).

                                              1. Comprehensive motor protection
                                                  
                                                 Covers thermal overload, locked rotor stall, single-phase loss, phase unbalance, ground fault, over/under voltage, undercurrent and winding overheat via thermistor monitoring.
                                              2. Dual-contactor intelligent control
                                                  
                                                 Supports two-speed motors, star-delta starters and reversing motor logic with built-in timing functions; realizes local manual start/stop and remote auto operation modes.
                                              3. Power & equipment monitoring
                                                  
                                                 Measures 3-phase current, voltage, kW, kWh and power factor; records motor running hours, startup times, pre-trip data and fault event logs for predictive maintenance.
                                              4. Process signal interaction
                                                  
                                                 Collects 4–20mA analog signals from field transmitters to implement interlock logic for pumps, fans and compressors.
                                              5. Remote data transmission
                                                  
                                                 Uploads real-time motor status, alarms and metering data to SCADA/HMI systems via Modbus communication.
