                                                                  Overview

                                                                  IC694MDL754 is a 32-point sinking digital output module belonging to GE Series 90-30 PLC product line. It supports mixed installation on PACSystems RX3i dual-bus backplanes, enabling reuse of original Series 90-30 field wiring during system upgrades. The module receives logic commands from the CPU and outputs 24VDC transistor signals to drive on-site auxiliary relays, indicator lights and small solenoid valves.

                                                                  Key Functions

                                                                  1. Field actuator driving
                                                                      
                                                                     Convert PLC internal logic signals into 24VDC switching signals to control cabinet status lights, alarm buzzers, small solenoid valves and intermediate relays.
                                                                  2. Fault isolation protection
                                                                      
                                                                     Short circuit or overload fault on one 16-point group will not spread to the other group or damage the rack backplane and CPU.
                                                                  3. Independent channel overcurrent protection
                                                                      
                                                                     Each channel has built-in current limiting circuit; automatically cuts output when overload occurs to prevent module burnout.
                                                                  4. Visual field debugging
                                                                      
                                                                     Channel LEDs directly display on/off status, convenient for wiring inspection, commissioning and fault troubleshooting.
                                                                  5. Cost-effective system reconstruction
                                                                      
                                                                     Compatible with RX3i CPU and IC695 series modules, no need to replace all field cables when upgrading old Series 90-30 control systems.
