Product Description

Allen-Bradley 440N-G02023 is a high-performance magnetic safety switch in Rockwell Automation's Guardmaster series, designed for safety protection of industrial machinery. It monitors the opening/closing status of movable components such as safety gates and fences. The switch triggers safety contact action via magnetic induction: when the safety gate is opened, it immediately cuts off the power supply to hazardous areas (e.g., motors, hydraulic systems), preventing personnel from entering dangerous zones. Its non-contact design features high anti-interference capability and long service life, suitable for high-safety-level protection scenarios such as stamping equipment, robot workstations, and packaging machinery. It complies with global mainstream safety standards, providing reliable safety interlock protection for industrial production.

Notes

  • Ensure alignment accuracy between switch and magnet during installation (deviation ≤2mm), with induction surfaces parallel to each other; otherwise, the sensing distance may shorten or false actions may occur.
  • Avoid installing near strong magnetic fields (e.g., electromagnets, large motors); if unavoidable, add magnetic shielding (e.g., stainless steel partitions).
  • Cable routing must be away from power cables to avoid electromagnetic coupling interference; M12 connectors must be tightened to the rated torque (0.5Nm) to prevent water ingress and contact oxidation.
  • Regularly (quarterly recommended) check magnet adsorption strength and contact conductivity; use a multimeter to measure NC contact resistance (should be ≤1Ω) to ensure the safety circuit is unobstructed.
