Product Description

The Allen-Bradley 1756-RM2 ControlLogix Redundancy Module is an Enhanced Redundancy Module manufactured by Rockwell Automation (Allen-Bradley). It is designed to create high-availability redundant ControlLogix PLC systems by synchronizing two separate ControlLogix chassis, allowing automatic controller switchover when a primary controller fault occurs.

The 1756-RM2 module works in pairs, with one module installed in each redundant chassis. It uses fiber optic communication for chassis synchronization and supports high-speed redundancy communication up to 1000 Mbps.
