Key Functions

   Continuously monitor rack power, module insertion status, communication link errors and program faults; store timestamped fault logs for maintenance troubleshooting.
5. Data retention
    
   Retain data table values via internal capacitor backup for several days after power loss; optional memory module for permanent program storage.
6. Expandable system architecture
    
   Match dedicated communication modules (1747-KE Ethernet, 1747-SDN DeviceNet) to add Ethernet, DeviceNet fieldbus networking capability.
