For copper-based FASTBUS, it extends the maximum segment distance from the standard 100 m to 200 m per module. This flexibility allows adaptation to different installation environments—fiber for long-distance, EMI-prone areas, and copper for shorter, cost-sensitive setups.
    • Power & Electrical Protection: Operates on 24 V DC input (18–34 V DC), with low power consumption (max. 0.8 A @ 24 V, 12 W nominal). Integrates overvoltage protection (up to 36 V DC) and reverse polarity protection (≤-30 V DC) to safeguard against wiring errors and power surges—critical for field-mounted installations with unstable power supplies.
