Product Overview

The Allen-Bradley 1797-BIC FLEX Ex Bus Isolator Module is an intrinsically safe isolation module designed for the FLEX Ex I/O system. It provides galvanic isolation between standard FLEX I/O bus sections and intrinsically safe FLEX Ex modules, allowing safe connection of field devices in hazardous environments. The module supports up to 8 FLEX Ex I/O modules on the isolated side and is widely used in hazardous area automation systems.
