4. Working Principle

1. Output high-frequency RF excitation signal to the eddy current probe tip;
2. Eddy current generates on the metal rotating target surface;
3. The proximitor demodulates RF signal and converts gap distance into linear DC voltage;
4. Transmit voltage signal to rack monitor for real-time calculation of shaft vibration, axial thrust displacement and rotational speed;
5. Continuously self-diagnose cable and probe faults, upload fault status to monitoring system.
