The B&R X20SO4120 is a safety-rated digital output (DO) module from the X20 I/O system, designed for industrial automation applications requiring SIL 3/PL e compliance. It features 4 safety outputs (Type A) with 2A current capacity per channel, supporting 24V DC for controlling relays, valves, and other safety-critical actuators. The module integrates current monitoring, open-circuit detection, and surge protection, making it ideal for emergency stop circuits, machine guarding, and process safety systems .
