The ABB TA75DU‑80 Thermal Overload Relay is a thermal overload protection device for low‑voltage AC motors. It protects three‑phase motors against overload, under‑voltage, and phase loss conditions. The relay uses a thermal bimetallic strip that responds to current changes: when current exceeds the set range, the relay trips to prevent motor overheating and damage. The TA75DU‑80 can be combined with contactors for comprehensive motor protection and is widely used in industrial motor control systems.
